Since 1911 CAS has been a place for amateur astronomers to congregate and share their knowledge and love of the universe with each other. But CAS also serves our greater Cincinnati community by performing public outreach, bringing the night sky a little closer to everyone. Members volunteer for events at our headquarters near Cleves, as well as bring their own telescopes to many public parks, schools, libraries and other venues to help educate the public about space and science through astronomy.
